I am truly from South Africa
by LouBelle insome on here have queried / asked if i'm honestly from south africa.
i am a born & bred south african woman - i do not have a stamp on the bottom of my foot to prove that (if i did have a stamp it would probably read "made in china" anyways) it's at the bottom tip of africa for those that are geographically challenged.. from my pic you can see that i'm caucasion...however i am one of them mixed childrens - actually my parents' wedding caused quite a stir in the papers way back in 1976 "white woman marries coloured man" apartheid in full swing - that being said though (and for everything my family went through) we haven't benefited from the change over - no hard feelings.. south africa isn't a huge place.
to travel from durban (on the east coast) through to cape town on the west coast will take you about 19 hours or 2 hour flight.

What is South Africa like?
by sammielee24 inwe were talking about places we would like to visit one day and i mentioned cape town.
sometimes, all the news we get or the pictures we see of another country, are slanted toward what is bad and we don't get to see what a country is really about.
i was wondering how many on here are from or have been to cape town and what it's really like?

Is age just a number? 30 year difference between partners....
by LouBelle ina collegue of mine, a mother of 19 year old twins is distressed.
her one son has been going out with an older women (this came to light when the other twin was sick and tired of all the lying going on) the truth is that the older women turns out to be her very good friend, who is now 49 years old.
let's call her madam x.. madam x is a very '"sweet"" woman - i know her, as i used to work with her.
